Victoria Green, Head of Sustainability

Victoria Green is responsible for the sustainability strategy, ESG reporting and supply chain standards – she coordinates teams, measures impact and ensures clear communication.

I spent my early childhood in Asia before returning to Australia, where food and farming were a normal part of life. Living across seven countries in Asia and Europe, I have become very aware of how different foods are produced, valued and discussed worldwide. I wanted to work in a place that would connect these worlds in a meaningful and practical way. The EW Group is at the very start of the value creation chain, where decisions have a real impact on animal welfare, resource use and food security. For someone who is curious and motivated by impact, this combination of scientific depth and global reach was exactly what I was looking for. It felt like a place where my experiences could shape my work.

My goal is to make sustainability part of daily decision-making. I would like us to use our data and stories to find out where we can reduce emissions, improve animal welfare, protect natural resources, and support our employees without impacting growth and innovation. If our ESG work is recognized as a practical tool that helps the company succeed in a changing world, then we have achieved something truly meaningful.

What I experience as leadership in the EW Group is a mixture of entrepreneur spirit, trust and responsibility. Managers are expected to take responsibility, think long-term, and remain close to the reality of the business. There is room to try out ideas, improve things step by step, and learn from mistakes – which is essential when building something new like an ESG function for the group. As a woman in a management position, I can relate to this very well. My own style is cooperative, direct and solution-oriented. I appreciate the confidence in my perspective and the different experiences I have gained through living and working in different cultures are seen as a strength. By being visible in this role, I hope that more young women will realize that there is no single management model here. There are many valid ways to lead and make a contribution.

Jürgen von Heyden, Executive Assistant

Jürgen von Heyden coordinates appointments, communication and decision documents for the management – he prioritizes tasks, prepares meetings and keeps projects and processes on track efficiently.

As an Executive Assistant, I work in two areas. On the one hand, I directly support the board of the EW Group. In doing so, I come into contact with the many companies in our group, their employees, their cultures and their customers. In my second area of responsibility, I support the coordination of the breeding of laying hens for Europe. In close cooperation with my second manager, I support the companies in projects and through controlling and benchmarking.
